Edgar Castillo, owner and curator of The Happy Saguaro, has more than 30 years of experience in providing high-quality ceramics and Southwest-styled home décor to his customers.
Castillo travels regularly to Mexico and other countries to hand-select items for his business.
Castillo’s father Arnold was a wholesale distributor for the former Rascon Landscaping & Nursery. Today, Edgar is proudly carrying on the family tradition.
Tips and Trends
• Metal décor for both home and garden is a favorite with customers. The Happy Saguaro’s metal shop in Mexico can produce custom items.
• Metal agaves, in several finishes, can make a dramatic statement when placed in large pots.
• Brightly painted metal flowers add a whimsical touch to a desert garden.
• Cobalt blue pottery from Vietnam and traditional Talavera designs are popular with shoppers.
• Their wide selection of hand crafted art includes jewelry, furniture, pottery, tin and ceramic pieces.
