Reflections on Romance
A post-wedding celebration honors newlyweds Jordan and Molly Munic at the home of the bridegroom’s parents.
Venue: A reception was held at the Canyon Ranch home of Georgann and John Munic, parents of the bridegroom. Jordan and Molly were married in Napa Valley.
Theme: The romantic alfresco dinner was reminiscent of the couple’s beautiful evenings spent in Napa and on their Parisian honeymoon.
Color Palette: White and ivory.
Floral: White orchids, lilies, hydrangeas, garden roses and gardenias mixed with grapes and succulents.
Décor: The Napa theme was carried throughout with the use of fresh grapes and vines in the floral décor. Each tablescape was adorned with family collections of antique sterling silver pieces.The romance of a Paris bistro setting was re-created with flowering gardenia trees and twinkling bistro lights.
Unique Elements: The bridegroom (a former member of the Tucson Arizona Boys Choir) serenaded his bride during the celebration. The couple danced to the same song played at the weddings of the bride’s parents and grandparents. A family friend made the wedding cake. Fun images of the couple were used as mementos and fans.
Menu: Dinner was catered by Café À La Carte and included passed hors d’oeuvres and a plated dinner of roasted Cornish hen, wild mushroom risotto, asparagus and squash.
