LIGHTS, CAMERA, Fashion! This year’s edition of Millenia is an all-access guide to entertainment. We are honored to premiere this season’s fashions, aiming our spotlight on The Mall at Millenia’s designers, brands, and products — the true stars of this book. Entering the spotlight: Burberry’s “see now, buy now” collections. Debuting just over a year ago, this spectacular new concept has revolutionized the industry. Rather than designing each collection six months in advance, Burberry is encouraging consumers to get their hands on their newly dubbed “seasonless” pieces right after the show. With “see now, buy now,” the Burberry collections will feature year-round staples in shows described as “February” and “September.” While parts of the collection will be available in store, full looks can be ordered in store through next spring. Like Burberry’s highly acclaimed new concept, we also applaud the iconic costumes in films, exploring just how deep the connection between entertainment and fashion runs. While so many icons have shaped our luxury brands, the silver screen, and our social media feeds, it’s clear that today, fashion is the entertainer. Because this season was all about sequins and lots of shine, the looks are cinematic, bold, and glamorous. What better way, then, to showcase The Mall at Millenia’s show-stopping styles than at a theater premiere? Whether treating yourself to a staycation that includes opening night tickets for one of the many brilliant shows we are fortunate to have at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts here in Orlando, or hopping on a plane for a weekend in the Big Apple, our behind-the-scenes tour offers an hour-by-hour guide to dressing for all of the possibilities. As the red carpet rolls out, our fashions shine. Fashion doesn’t just entertain, it also inspires. This holiday season, as you prepare to visit family and friends — and maybe take in a show — remember these words from Andy Warhol: “Fashion wasn’t what you wore someplace anymore; it was the whole reason for going.” We’ve got it covered: To purchase additional editions of this year’s Millenia Holiday Book, shown above, visit The Mall at Millenia concierge. All proceeds from the Gold Edition ($20) and Platinum Edition ($20) will be donated to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Cover photography by Tom Corbett; Styling by Emily Barnes
