W Whether you want a more traditional pool, or something designed to blend into the landscape, there are options for you. If lounging is your thing, you’ll want deck options that provide plenty of space for you, friends and family to hang out. Concerned with being one with nature? Artistically placed rocks and boulders (real, or manufactured), can give your pool/spa/ pond the look of having been there forever. Don’t be surprised, though, if denizens of the desert stop by for a drink or a dip! Murals and decorate tile accents can make your pool a focal point. Likewise, the area around your water feature can be a cool spot to gather, have a beverage, and enjoy the sunset. Shade elements can transform the look of the space and extend the time period in which you can use your yard. During the planning process, make sure you incorporate any automation that you’d like to have. These days, many features (ranging from routine maintenance to scene setting) can be accomplished through an app on your smart phone or your laptop. It will be easier and less expensive to put in the neces-sary plumbing and electrical lines from the start, than to go back and dig things up. CLOCKWISE FROM LEFT Bonnema Pools and Spas.
