To manage your business listing on Google Places you’ll need a Google account. This is not the same as a Gmail account. A Google account allows you to access Google services (such as Analytics for web site tracking). You can create a Google account using your company email address. For example, OFA has a Google account and the login is ofa@ofa.org. Tips: The Google account should be setup and accessed by a business owner or semi-permanent employee to ensure future access to the account.
