Two 2 Cool... continued from page 23 race and by the end of the series, almost half the field was utilizing it! Two2Cool achieves this by concentrating more on increasing the locking effects of the clutch. Reducing slippage creates less heat, resulting in less wear on friction ma- terials and therefore, better starts. CTF- R is so highly refined that it has been mistaken for water because of it’s fluid- like viscosity. RTL-2 is engineered specifically for two stroke motorcycles in which the transmission and clutch system share the same fluid. These oils are different be- cause they must perform that dual pur- pose. They are not only required to lubricate numerous gears, but must also provide the maximum in positive clutch engagement. This was achieved by fo- cusing on new innovative additives to in- crease the locking effects of the clutch friction plates. RTL-2 stops slippage, im- proves starts, all while reducing clutch and engine temperatures, and the result is extended clutch friction plate and spring life. When RTL-2 debuted at the Loretta Lynn’s racing series in the 65- 85cc Classes, Two2Cool found enormous success with multiple moto podiums re- sults. RTL-2 could be another new standard in two-stroke transmission fluids. In 2005, Two2Cool was de- veloping a better chemical transferring agent for coolants. Using their knowl- edge base from their oil addi- tive, they developed a coolant additive that improves the cooling qualities of any brand of antifreeze or coolant. T2C’s Coolant Additive is composed of different isomer combinations that absorb heat from metals and transfers it to the coolant system fluid for dissipation. The additive is used with other pre mixed coolants to give adequate pro- tection for engine components. It also contains anti-foaming and surfactants to reduce sur- face attraction. The additive enhances the low-freeze points of antifreeze and increases its boil point. oz. bottles and treats ½ gallon containers of commercially 24 Powersports Management • August/September 2008
