Star City Coffee House ~Sample Menu Selections~ BREAKFAST FAVORITES Star City Platter $6.75 This platter will start you out right. With two eggs your way, cheese grits, biscuit and a choice of bacon or sausage, how can you go wrong? Crepes Eggs Benedict $4.50 Sautéed apples with raisins or strawberries and cream are wrapped in delicate crepes to bring a light, refreshing side to breakfast. $7.50 Local favorite, poached eggs sit on top of toasted English muffi ns and Canadian bacon. This is covered by light hollandaise sauce and served with a side of fresh fruit. Rio Omelet $7.25 A spicy southwestern alternative to the normal omelet; eggs with chorizo, roasted poblano, tomato and pepper-jack cheese are accompanied by fresh fruit. Sausage Gravy&Biscuits SAMPLE SOUP & SALAD Cobb Salad French Onion Soup $4.50 A southern classic, house made biscuits are smothered with an old family recipe of sausage gravy and topped with a fried egg. $8.50 Crisp baby lettuce topped with grilled chicken, bacon, hardboiled egg, avocado, tomato and blue cheese, fi nished with a savory vinaigrette. $4.00 Caramelized red, white and sweet yellow onions combined with rich stock and simmered to perfection. Garlic croutons support the gruyere, parmesan and provolone cheeses that are baked until bubbling and golden on top.
