Winning over customers with his quality specialty ingredients, a bright smile and warm nature, Montano’s shop soon produced a second location in 1973 that eventually grew into a full-fl edged restaurant. In 1988, with son Marty Montano by his side, Phil relocated the restaurant to the Townside Festival Mall and Montano’s was born.
