to prove their claims. In November 2007, Two2Cool intro- duced a new standard for powersports motor oils. They developed a full line of synthetic and petroleum based motorcy- cle motor oils that include their leg- endary engine cooling properties. The X-Treme Cool Motor Oils not only lu- bricate and protect an engine with the lat- est technologically advanced additives, but it also cools the engines overall oil temperature by 40-60 degrees less than traditional motor oils. Off road motorcycles in racing situa- tions produce 300-350 degree oil tem- peratures. This is about 100 degrees hotter than your average coolant tem- perature. Motor oils start to break down due to excessive heat, which in turn causes damage to engine parts, clutch packs and it reduces horsepower. Two2Cool claims that no other motor oil and/or combination of any aftermarket parts on the market today can reduce en- gine and coolant temperatures as much as their line of X-treme Cool motor oils. X-treme Cool helps prevent overheating issues, resulting in maximum horse- power, for longer running times in Mo- torcycles, ATV’s,UTV’s, and even Watercraft or Snowmobiles. In an effort to keep the Custom V-twin riders cool, T2C introduced its V-twin oil in early 2008. V-twin engines are unique and require a different approach to their cooling problems. V-twin engines have sufficient cooling capabilities at normal highway cruising speeds. However, while driving, the leading cylinder obtains the most airflow across its fins, while the rear cylinder typically suffers from higher temperature. The second problem area is during low speed cruising or stop-and-go traffic. In those situations V-twin engines can increase oil temperatures 20-40% within minutes. Two2Cool’s 20w-50 syn- thetic V-twin oil is specially formulated for these demanding air-cooled engines and reduces the oil temperature by up to 20% during stop-go-traffic! Like all T2C products, it is American made. CTF-R developed specifically for Mini-Sport Motorcycles that feature both Centrifugal Shoe and Disc style clutches. It was debuted at the most demanding race in amateur motocross “Loretta Lynn’s”. CTF-R took home two national titles in its first ...continued on page 24 www.powersportsmag.com • August/September 2008 • Powersports Management 23
