CAMP ROLLING ALONG Ages 5 to 21 Eight 4 1/2 hour sessions No Transportation $165 With Transportation $215 SUMMER CAMP 2014 AGES 10-22 MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY Camp Rolling Along provides student’s who are in wheel-chairs or have other serious health concerns the opportunity to experience “camp.” With a staff to student ratio of 1:1 and a registered nurse on duty, we are able to have fun within a safe environment. Daily activities include arts and crafts, games, and swimming! This year we’ve added field trips for those campers that would enjoy going out! We are recreationally based and staffed at one adult to every 5 or 6 participants. Successful participants will be those who are independent in toileting, self care and feeding. We will not be implementing or continuing behavioral or OT/PT programs and there will be no onsite nurse for this program. M in : 10 M ax : 20 Choose One, Two or all Three Programs! Campers must be able to be supervised in a group of one adult to three campers. Children MUST be in the Olathe School district or live in Olathe. Camp will include swim-ming, music, physical activity time and outdoor play activi-ties. Behavior management programs will not be run and children with severe medical challenges would be better served in Camp Rolling Along. Miracle League provides participants the opportunity to hit the ball, circle the base and enjoy the same socializing aspects that other baseball leagues bring to those without disability. The specially designed facility makes it earl for those in wheelchairs, with walkers and other assistive devices to participate in this sport.
